Shop and In-Home/Office 

Regular Business Hours:            $59.00Per Hour*

After Hours Weekends & Holidays:   $99.00 Per Hour*  

 10% Discount for Seniors, College Students and Non-Profit organizations.

*The minimum fee for all service in home or shop is one hour. Subsequent time is billed by the half hour or any part thereof.

 

Payment

 All parts including complete systems must be paid for in full before they will be ordered/assembled. We accept personal checks, cash (except by mail). Due to the high cost of processing, we no longer accept credit/debit cards. All sales and services are subject to Vermont sales tax.

 

Service Policies

   All work is guaranteed for 30 days parts and labor. New retail box parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty.  New OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts carry a 30 day warranty. Defective Retail Box and OEM parts are replaced free of charge for the first 30 days as soon as the replacement part arrives.  After 30 days Retail Box parts still covered by the manufacturers warranty will be replaced at no charge for parts plus a $39.00 per hour labor fee when the replacement part arrives. Replacement rarely takes more than one hour.

   Customers are charged only for the time actually spent on services. You are not charged for time spent waiting for replacement parts, or in the case of in home service, time spent returning to the shop for parts or tools. All special order parts must be paid for in full before we order them. There is no charge for local pick up or delivery within 15 driving miles of our shop.

   For in home service : In the event your system cannot be repaired in your home and must be taken to our shop, you will only be charged for the first hour once. .

   Used Parts: While we discourage the use of used parts, we understand that people do buy used parts from friends, classified adds and Ebay. In these cases if a used part that we supply fails within the first 30 days we will refund the cost of the part only. Labor is not refundable. If a part new or used part supplied by you, the customer, fails, there is no refund for labor.

 

About Data Recovery

What we can do:

     We can recover deleted files from your hard drive even if it’s been reformatted. Keep in mind that this can be a time consuming process. The cost of this service varies according to the storage capacity of your hard drive. We can also recover data from CD-RW and DVD-RW media and 3.5” floppy disks. Call or email us for a quote.

 What we can’t do:

     We cannot recover data from a hard drive with a mechanical failure. This requires disassembly of the drive in a clean room environment and is extremely expensive. We cannot guarantee 100% recovery of data if the drive has been written to. We cannot guarantee 100% recovery of damaged files.
